Rich Conaty, too, has gone home to God

Rich Conaty's Big Broadcast radio show on WFUV was another one of those things that I foolishly thought would always be there because it always had been, with Rich at the helm.  I was happy to see Rich profiled and honored by Lawrence Downes on the Op Ed page of yesterday's New York Times as "A D.J. Who Brought Two Decades to Life"

I remember dancing crazily around my nursing school dorm to Bix  Beiderbecke in 1976 and doing the same thing periodically in my home ever since.

He can now spin his 78s for us under OLV's celestial disco ball.
