Local Churches Await News of Their Fate

Aside from Our Lady of Vilnius, which the Archdiocese would like to close by means of cultivated decripitude and desuetude, more than 50 other churches are candidates for closure under the archdiocesan realignment program.

Today's article out of Newburgh in the "Times Herald-Record" remarks that September 30, the anticipated deadline for the announcement of church closures, came with neither a bang nor a whimper.
