Last Mass at Lithuanian Church of St. George, Rochester

On June 20, 2010, the last Mass was said at St. George's Lithuanian church in Rochester. The Catholic Courier chronicles this event in an article St. George Celebrates Final Mass on Hudson Street. Unlike the case of Our Lady of Vilnius, the parishioners, vestments and sacramentals will find a new home at the Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes in Brighton.

God bless the parishioners of St. George in this bittersweet moment, losing their house so filled with love, memories and ghosts. May they thrive and continue to serve God and one another in their new home.
