Christmas morning Mass at St. Mary's

This morning baby Jesus had mysteriously filled the empty crib.  Father McCarthy was back, but seemed a little under the weather, taking out a linen hanky and periodically blowing.  His homily viewed the joyful birth from the perspective of the cross.  Again the great thing was the bonds of consideration and caring among the community and the presence of people of all ages.

After Mass families posed for photos in front of the resplendent altar.  I wanted to get a good shot of the creche, but had to wait a solid 15 minutes as people congregated in front of it waiting to kneel for a prayer before leaving.
