Today Mass at Apreiskimo in Williamsbug was said for Harry Kresky, the lawyer who brought the case of Our Lady of Vilnius, Blaudziunas v. Egan, to the state's highest court, the New York State Court of Appeals. He was up against litigator Peter Johnson, Jr. who was, at that time, the personal attorney of Fox titan Roger Ailes and an online personality with Fox and Friends.
Harry Kresky passed away at the age of 79 on March 11 of this year. After retiring he moved upstate and devoted his time to fly fishing and reflection, which led to poetry. I have purchased his book and I am learning about another side of our intrepid attorney whose ingenious argument deserved to win the day.
