Former Our Lady of Vilnius trustee, Joe, expressed his sentiments to the editor of "The Villager." The editor, in his wisdom, saw fit to publish Joe's letter, captioned "Don't Close Churches." Salient quote:
"Good Pope John XXlll said he wanted to open the windows of the Church to let in some fresh air. We need this now in the Archdiocese of New York."
