For a while Richard "Kinky" Friedman lived near Our Lady of Vilnius. He later chronicled these years in a series of mystery novels in which he prevailed over random gangsters and murderers while chowing down in Little Italy and and Chinatown. Very sorry that his oeuvre is now complete.
