Our Lady of Vilnius Roman Catholic Church stood on Broome Street in Manhattan at the Entrance to the Holland Tunnel since 1910. Cardinal Egan locked it on February 26, 2007. It was demolished in 2015. I live here even though it is gone, serving food for thought at a virtual "kavine."

No Catechisis for the Wrong Side of the Digital Divide?
From a Flocknote re a Westchester parish:
"Dear Families,
Registration for the 2017-2018 Religious Education School Year is now open.
This year registration is being done only online. Payment is made online as well.
No doubt that is why that option is presented. Hopefully the digital divide is smaller now than it was in 2017 when I wrote that post. Many Catholic schools have closed and I am very concerned about religious education. If someone can't or isn't equipped to register and pay online I think every effort should be made not to exclude them.

I'm glad that registering for religious education this year can be easily completed online.
